What is Saykeeper?
Saykeeper is an app for recording in-person meetings in the browser on your computer or phone. Apps for Android and iPhone are coming soon. It writes a transcript by speaker, a summary, action items, minutes and a follow-up email in the language of the meeting. Details on how it works.
Does Saykeeper join Zoom, Meet or Teams calls?
No. Saykeeper has no meeting bot and is not a browser extension. It records the microphone of your phone or computer at a meeting where you sit together, and you start and stop the recording yourself.
Does Saykeeper work without internet?
Recording does. You record in the web app in your browser: you open it with internet, and if the connection drops during the meeting, recording keeps going and is saved in the browser. When you are back online, send it with one click. The live transcript and the chat always need internet. The apps for Android and iPhone, coming soon, record with no signal and upload by themselves once the phone is online.
Do I have to tell people I’m recording?
Yes. Tell everyone at the start that the meeting is being recorded and why. In Slovakia and Czechia the law generally requires a person’s consent to a sound recording of what they say. More in recording consent.
Which languages does it understand?
Transcription handles Slovak, Czech, English and many other languages. The summary and email are written in the language of the meeting. The app itself is in English, Slovak and Czech.
Where is my data and who can see it?
Your meetings are stored in the EU (Ireland). Transcription and the AI summary are done by contracted processors, some of them in the USA, and we never use your meetings to train AI. Only you and the people you share a meeting with can open it. Every processor is listed in the privacy policy.
Is there an app for Android and iPhone?
Not yet. The apps for Android and iPhone are coming soon to Google Play and the App Store. Until then, open app.saykeeper.com in your phone’s browser and record there.
Can I upload a recording from a voice recorder?
Yes. Upload MP3, M4A, AAC, WAV, FLAC, OGG, OPUS, WEBM, AMR, 3GP, MP4, M4V or MOV, up to 500 MB per file.
How much does it cost and how do I cancel?
Saykeeper Pro costs €19.99 a month, or €13.99 a month billed yearly (€167.88). Cancel anytime in the app under Billing; your plan stays active until the end of the paid period.
How do I delete my account?
Write to privacy@saykeeper.com from your account email. The full process is on the account deletion page.
